The events taking place in Afghanistan have the world in a sea of sadness. The images are sad and heartbreaking, leaving us speechless and helpless. We wish someone would do something, fix it and it would end.

"And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass; but the end is not yet" S. Matthew 24:6.

The great heart of the human being comes from God, and in that great love we would like that the sad things that happen in the world would never happen, but they have to happen, unfortunately it is so.

God gave us the freedom to choose the path we want to walk, He does not force us. Whether or not we walk with Him is our decision, but we cannot expect to receive His promises when we do not walk His ways.

"Be not deceived: God is not mocked. Each one reaps what he sows" Galatians 6:7

God did not create us for suffering or sorrows, but our actions bring their own results. All the wars we see are the result of bad decisions made long ago. Likewise in our lives, bad decisions made bring about results that we do not want but it was inevitable that they would happen.

Let us think carefully if our attitudes, actions, way of expressing ourselves, what we read and hear lead us to a good harvest or it is necessary to make corrections from God's hand to have a good and prosperous harvest tomorrow.
