Health, work, money, partner, studies, car, house, a better relationship, getting out of problems, financially; we all have prayed at some time or are praying for a miracle.
The definition of miracle is: Extraordinary and marvelous event that cannot be explained by the regular laws of nature and that is attributed to the intervention of God. Biblically it means that God did the impossible.
Therefore, at times when we have done the "Impossible", we ask God to intervene so that He makes the "impossible possible", that is a miracle.
Could it be that miracles only happen when we ask for them? Could it be that miracles happen without us realizing it? Could it be that some events that for us are negative, are miracles in our lives?
When Moses was left in a basket, that was the miracle for him to end up next to Pharaoh. When David was fighting bears and lions protecting the sheep, that was the miracle that prepared him to face Goliath. When Joseph was sold, that was the miracle for him to become the leader of Egypt.
Many unexplainable things have happened, are happening and will happen in your life that are part of the miracles that God has prepared for you, and most of them will go unnoticed.
Every day 185,000 people die in the world, 735 million go to bed without eating and do not know what they are going to eat the next day, there are 45 million completely blind people who will not be able to read this blog and I can go on with more similar statistical data that affirm that our life is full of miracles.
"Give thanks to the Lord for everything" 1 Thess 5:18.
Being thankful leads us to feel full, prosperous, blessed, which leads us to desire to give of what I have, and thus become someone's miracle. Talking to the one who needs a word of encouragement, listening to the one who has something in his heart and wants to tell someone, looking with love to the one who has been rejected, embracing the one who has lost a loved one. We are a miracle-working machine, we are God's perfect creation at the service of others.
David, full of scars and wounds from his confrontations with bears and lions (1 Samuel 17:46), was the preparation for killing Goliath and freeing Israel from the oppression of the Philistines; David was the miracle Israel asked for in their prayers (1 Samuel 17:25).
The bears and lions you have faced, be it financial problems, family problems, sickness or others, are what have prepared you to be who you are today, a miracle. You are someone's miracle, you have been prepared and are going to be used by God to help others face what seems impossible to solve. Someone else went through the same thing to be a miracle in your life.
Someone prayed for marriage, children, to build a home, to be hired for a job, a doctor to heal their loved one, a child crying out for the love of their parents, financial direction to get out of debt and achieve their goals, and so many other prayers that surely you have been the answer in one or all of those prayers.
So remember, today someone is facing bears and lions, has fought a war, has been hurt and wounded, God is preparing him; that person is preparing to be someone else's miracle, and it may be you.
God bless you!
