The encounter required one day a week for twelve weeks. At the end my wife and I felt that it had worked, that we saw a change and wanted to do it again. We were so excited that we offered our home to do it.

We started doing the meeting again in our home along with a time of Bible study and we began to realize that there were more things to work out than we thought. Before we thought it was just a few details, but really there were several underlying issues in each of us that we didn't know existed and were leading to the destruction of our marriage.

"And when Jesus came to that place, looking up, he saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today I must abide at thy house. And he went down quickly, and received him joyfully" Luke 19:5-6.

When someone comes to clean your house, that person goes through every corner, from the entrance to the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the whole house. When we open the door for Jesus to enter our house, He does not stay in the entrance or in the living room, He enters everywhere to clean, improve and heal, but it was necessary to invite Him in.

"Fourfold", it was not enough to do what seemed obvious, the minimum. It is not enough to fix or try to right the wrongs, we must do that and four times more. Why? Because our mistakes have caused more damage than we realize.

Invite the Lord into your home to walk through every corner of your home. Let him know your bedroom, your bathroom, playroom, library, kitchen, every corner; listen to everything he tells you to do, follow his instructions, fulfill each one of them four times, because God's cleanliness has a name "SALVATION".
