This blog has the purpose of leaving a memory of two events that in the minds of many were unbelievable events that could never happen.

My wife worked in a travel agency until a few years ago in the sales department. Like everything she does, she puts in a lot of enthusiasm and pushes her projects forward, and given the volume of work she was assigned a very young assistant, but very skilled in systems.

Andres Felipe comes from a family that, like many, has raised their children with a lot of effort. Stubborn, impetuous, mocking, he gave everyone a nickname, and always stood out for his strong and determined temperament. After several years he resigned, to work in something he liked and to continue his university studies. Several people told him at that time that he was not going to achieve much in his life, he was destined to fail.

Jeffrey is a young man from a hard-working family, creative, determined and temperamental; just give him an idea and he takes it as far as he can. Jeffrey, like many young people, because of his social environment was taking a path that is known not to end in good results. Tragic events, difficulties in his family and social life led him to activities that threatened him. One thing led to another and by the grace of God he ended up in a foundation that helps young people to leave their addictions to drugs, alcohol, to control their temperament and transform their lives in Christ.

Last night, in a home transformed by the Lord, Jeffrey along with his wife Yesenia, opened the doors of their home to receive other couples and people who are eager to know God. The most powerful thing is THEIR TESTIMONY. It is the first home group of our church.

Last Sunday I couldn't be at the preaching of the church. I had been asking the Lord to place a servant, someone to replace me when I could not; I never imagined it would be that young man who they said was destined to fail. Andres Felipe got married, has a beautiful home, finished his studies, works for a construction company and together with his wife Kelly, is the Youth Pastor of the church.

THE UNBELIEVABLE!

I write these letters with tears in my eyes of happiness because, if I ever asked my God to show me what He is capable of, how great His power is, I have been able to see it and live it close, very close.

"...but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and God hath chosen the base things of the world, and the things which are not, to bring to nought the things which are..." 1 Corinthians 1:27-28

God, our father, the all powerful one is just that, all powerful. He can do all things, He accomplishes all things, we just need to have faith and do what is rightfully ours, what His word shows us we need to do, God will do the rest, THE IMPOSSIBLE!

Have faith because this has just begun and there are many more testimonies to tell of God's work. The best is yet to come!
